I recently learned that having my blog at a subdomain address of http://blog.marketaccelerators.com was probably not helping my main site as far as search engines are concerned. This is because http://www.marketaccelerators.com is seen as a completely different site.

I have therefore moved it to http://www.marketaccelerators.com/blog. This then puts the blog right on the main site.

I use WordPress (which I love) and although I was a bit worried about moving it, seems like everything is working ok. Of course all the links to the old address will no longer function. I did put a 301 redirect in place (see previous post) which should redirect visits at the domain level but that won’t help for links to specific posts.
