Resources for Women (and men?) Entrepreneurs

As I mentioned in a previous post, I attended the nationwide Microsoft women entrepreneur’s event called Vision to Venture a couple of months ago in Redmond, WA. Much of Vision to Venture was recorded and Microsoft have now made the video available online. There were some excellent speakers including our own Duct Tape Marketing founder, John Jantsch.

If you would like to watch a video of the speakers you can do so here.

Microsoft have also created a Women’s Resource Center. Its not really packed with info but there are a few interesting links and resources.

Some of you may notice that I bear a slight resemblance to Bill Gates. While I was up on the Microsoft Campus I had a couple of people want to take their picture with me. Another asked if I did weddings and other events. I did explain to the folks with the camera that I was not Mr G. himself but they wanted a photo anyway! Perhaps there is a new career in my future?

  1. In a few months, they may forget what he looks like. You could probably walk in the door at Microsoft and they would fall for it. At least it would be worth a free meal in the cafeteria.

I think the impersonation job will pay better, go for it!
