Dan Berne brings over 20 years of marketing management
and consulting to help new and emerging companies
develop effective marketing and brand strategies. He has
helped business leaders, such as Hewlett-Packard and
Church & Dwight, to improve their market position and be
more profitable.
His work on managing high-tech brands is included in the
textbook “Brand Management” (McGraw-Hill, October,
2009). He is the author of the forthcoming book, Your
Opinion Does Not Matter - creating brand value by design.
At Hewlett-Packard, he directed the brand and product
design strategies for HP's Inkjet businesses, including the
Deskjet®, Officejet®, and Photosmart® product lines.
As the HP Deskjet Marketing Manager, Dan revamped HP’s
low-end printer business model, turning that market segment
from negative to positive profit margins, while increasing
worldwide market share leadership.
